Delaware's health care sector is diverse and growing, featuring a wide range of occupations that cater to the community's needs. Key roles include physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, all contributing to quality patient care. The demand for these positions is fueled by an aging population and advancements in medical technology, leading to a steady influx of job opportunities.
In addition to traditional roles, Delaware is seeing increased demand for specialties such as telehealth practitioners and mental health professionals. This trend reflects a broader shift towards accessible health care services, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive support for both physical and behavioral well-being.

Job Postings Intensity - The ratio of total job postings to unique (de-duplicated) job postings (i.e. how urgently employers want to fill this job opening).
We use this metric to measure the intensity of demand in a region in order to compare it with other regions. Here, we are comparing {name|Delaware} to the United States as a whole.
For example, if a region has a posting intensity of 2 for physician assistants, employers are advertising each job in 2 different locations. In contrast, if another region has a posting intensity of 4 for the same occupation, employers are posting in at least 4 locations, indicating that demand in region B is double that of region A.
